小说？诗？

录像装置（五频录像&装置数件），5分钟，尺寸可变，2018

围绕“你希望自己的人生是小说还是诗？”这个由艺术家在京都生活数月的感受而提出的问题，营造了五种不同的场景：对京都市内当地町民的“街访”、投映在纸箱屏风上的“路口行人印象”、纸箱屏风背面的“街景”，以及五位演出者的“自白”和他们在方桌背后的“表演”。

作品现场是由五频录像装置构建而成的一个时间和空间的交错场域，五个情景和声音相互渗透。这种情境设置的灵感来源于日本传统建筑中的一种“有机”的空间流动结构。在这样一个场域中，不断的“流变”会发生新的交汇和体验。

Novel or Poem?

Video installation (five-channel video & installation), 5min&Variable size, 2018

“Wouldyou like your life to be a novel or a poem?” This is a question from the artist’s experience of living in Kyoto for several months, and it creates five different scenarios: “street interviews” with the locals in Kyoto City, “pedestrian impression at the intersection” projected on the screen made by piles of cartons, “streetscape” on the back of the carton screen, “confessions” from five performers and their “performances” behind the square table.

The work creates an intertwined field of time and space constructed by five-channel video and installations, mingling with the five scenes and sounds. This setting is inspired by the “organic” spatial flow structure of traditional Japanese architecture. New intersections and experiences will be created by continuously “flowing changes” in this field.
