"Question Theater" Project

 

 

 

 

“问题剧场”是一个围绕受新自由主义全球化影响的当代社会问题，且面向不同地域开展的长期艺术实践计划。该计划以“剧场”作为社会艺术实践的方法论，通过田野调研，以采集的民众生活经验作为样本，来探寻作为主体的人在当代社会该如何自处。“问题剧场”将深入探悉不同地域之面貌和社会形态，继而正视问题的真相，讲述当代的冲突。

 

项目以剧场工作坊的形式招募当地民众参与，打通年龄代际和阶级，使我们在面对历史与当下问题时，拥有一个可以自由对话交流和释放自我情感的“现场”，进而激发“想象”的能量，建构新的集体记忆，孕育“历史的在场”。

 

 

 

The Question Theater is a long-term art project focusing on contemporary social issues influenced by Neoliberal globalization and is carried out in different regions. Taking "theater" as a methodology of social art practice, through field research, it collects people's living experiences as samples, and explores how they settle themselves as subjects in this society. The Question Theater will deeply study and find out the social formations between different regions, face the truth of the problems, and tell the contemporary conflicts.

 

The project recruits local people through theater workshops, bridging generations and classes, so that we can have a "site" to talk freely and release our emotions when facing the past and present problems. Then it helps to stimulate the energy of "imagination", construct a new collective memory, and nurture the "presence of history".
