这件空间作品创作灵感来源于英国诗人、剧作家T·S·艾略特的史诗名著《荒原》。它所呈现的是一片由红色沙土和被沙土掩埋的类建筑物、家具的几何雕塑组合而成的景象。当空间顶光数次扫过这片破败又脆弱的碎片式场景，它又好似孕育着即将破土而出的新生命的现场。作品需由观者置身其中，自由调动想象去丰满这片荒原。

注：此作品是艺术家受邀为中国服装品牌BANXIAOXUE2021年在上海时装周以剧场的概念设计的秀场空间装置。

The work was inspired by T. S. Eliot's The Waste Land.Itpresents a scene composed of red sand and geometric sculptures of buildings and furniture buried in sand. When the space ceiling light sweeps over this broken and fragile fragmentary scene several times, it seems to be breeding the scene of new life that is about to break through the earth. The works need to be placed by the viewer, free to mobilize imagination to enrich this wasteland.
