三频录像&声音装置数件,20分钟&尺寸可变
艺术家在深圳公开招募了八名年龄从23到62岁不等的参与者,他们来自全国不同的省市,在深圳生活的时间也不尽相同,但在“来了就是深圳人”的号召下,大家都是“新深圳人”。艺术家通过六场剧场工作坊,试图呈现一个以“速度”为中心向四周扩散的同心圆的关系模型,围绕“深圳速度”等关键词的扩散,面向自我、他人、深圳提出近千个问题,最终形成剧场表演和展厅内同名的三频录像装置——《世事恰如溪流》。一次次的推进,是向内的思索,也是对社会的发问。

Three-channel video & sound installation, 20 minutes & dimension variable
Wang Ziyue recruits eight participants (aged between 23and 62), who come from different provinces and cities across the country and have lived in Shenzhen for a different duration. However, they are all New Shenzhener because of the slogan “You are a Shenzhener once you come to Shenzhen”. Wang Ziyue tried topresent a relationship model of concentric circles spreading from "speed" as the center through six theater workshops. She guided the participants to ask nearly a thousand questions — self, the Other,and Shenzhen — around the keyword "Shenzhen speed". Finally, she created atheater and a three-channel video & installation with the same name TheThings Streaming. Thewhole process she pushes forward, again and again, is an inner thinking, and also a question to society.
